CHA, a full service engineering firm headquartered in Albany, New York, is pleased to announce that the firm and one of its staff, Amy K. Brockman, were honored as the 2010 recipients of Hope House's "Circle of Hope" awards. The awards are presented to individuals and organizations whose extraordinary support play vital roles in helping Hope House achieve its mission. The awards were presented during Hope House's annual dinner on October 20th.
Hope House is an Albany, NY-based non-profit organization that responds to needs in the Capital Region community to provide education, intervention and treatment to people whose lives have been affected by any form of chemical dependency or family dysfunction. The organization and its volunteers are dedicated to providing an array of high-quality residential, outpatient and community-based services that are developmentally-focused to both adult and youth populations. Ms. Brockman is CHA's Graphic Design Manager. In this role, she is responsible for overseeing the creation of designs, creative concepts and layouts for the firm's proposals, interview presentations, brochures, e-marketing campaigns, signage, logos and website. She also ensures that all of the firm's marketing collateral conforms with CHA's branding policies and quality standards. In addition to her volunteer work with Hope House, Ms. Brockman has organized and volunteered for events that benefit the Multiple Sclerosis Society, United Way, Saratoga Center for the Family, Gilda's Club, Schenectady Central Park Rose Garden Restoration Committee, Albany City Schools Arts and Education, Equinox Inc., Colonie Senior Citizens and the Parkinson's Foundation at Albany Medical Center.
